The Behringer X32 Compact differs from the larger X32 in very few ways. The X32 Compact is the same product as the X32 in terms of software, connectivity, and usability; the differences lie in the number of channels, mic inputs, main outputs, and faders:
The Behringer X32 Compact digital mixing console is a 40-Input, 25-Bus console with 16 programmable MIDAS preamps, 17 motorised faders, a 32 channel audio interface and optional iPad/iPhone control. The Compact differs from the standard X32 with a smaller I/O patch, with 16 mic inputs, 8 main outputs and 17 faders.
The Behringer X32 Compact offers 17 long-throw, 100 mm motorized faders for primary mix control, as well as LCD Scribble Strips and a TFT Display, so that the faders can serve multiple functions while always keeping you informed. Separate fader sections for inputs and groups/buses allow for convenient assignments from inputs to groups/buses. Users can recall up to 100 pre-programmed scenes.
A total of 17 programmable LCD Scribble Strips offer channel/bus identification that mirrors what is being controlled.
The X32 Compact Channel Strip puts the most important channel processing parameters into one section, so that no matter which channel you are working on, the controls are always the same. Optimized control illumination ensures a clear indication of levels or status from any viewing angle. Illuminated rotary encoders and switches give you control of preamp settings, frequency shelving, dual dynamics sections, as well as multi-mode fully parametric EQ, bus sends, main, mono and stereo panning.
The 7″ TFT display shows the setting parameters you need when you need them. Vital functions such as effects, metering, routing and much more 1 or 2 button presses away.
