Summer Technicians
2026 is shaping up to be our busiest year ever, so we’re looking for people to join the team across the summer!
We’re searching for enthusiastic, talented people to join us. You’ll get hands-on experience, working between the warehouse, preparing jobs or serving customers, whilst also heading out on site.
Where you'll be working
We’re based at Follingsby Park, Gateshead, where our technicians deal with the day-to-day operations and logistics of our warehouse, preparing technical equipment and staging for direct hire to customers, or heading out to be installed on site or at a venue. You’ll need to be able to get here between 8-9 each day, depending on whats going on that day. Some days, you’ll be in the warehouse all day, whilst other days you’ll be head out on site.
What you'll be doing
Working alongside our warehouse and production teams, you’ll help make sure equipment is prepared and ready to be used, loaded on to vehicles, delivered to sites and installed. This is a hands on role, with a lot of physical work. You should expect to do some heavy lifting, alongside preparation and checks of technical equipment including lighting and sound systems, stage structures and video walls. Some work is outdoors, so you’ll need to be prepared for everything the great british weather may throw at you!
About You
We’re after people who have a genuine interest in the events industry, who understand that creating live events isn’t a 9 to 5 job. Ideally, you’d already have industry experience, or an understanding of a discipline within live events.
Holding a driving licence is preferred but not essential. You must have the right to work in the UK.
Next Steps
We’re looking to take on people for the summer season, starting in April and running through to mid September.
We intially offer 2 or 3 days per week, with additional days available in busier weeks. Please note these days will include some weekend working. Adiditionally, some evening work may also be required. We can work with the right candidates to ensure flexible working.
