Car showroom launch
A seller of high-end prestigious cars opened a new showroom in Newcastle and wanted to mark the occasion with an event showcasing the vehicles to their customer base and invited guests. The brief, following a site visit, was to provide a sound system for the showroom, a small stage and two large truss structures complete with lighting for the vehicles to be placed underneath, and with moving lights to provide atmosphere for the launch.
We sent a 6-man team to the venue to perform the installation on the day of the event. We carpeted the area as we prepared the truss to make sure the floor was protected at all times, and worked quickly and as discretely as possible – for instance, joining truss sections together with a copper hammer is not a quiet process, so we did as much as possible outside! The event was a huge success.
